Refunds and cancellation
This page sets out the main rules in the trading terms on payment, refunds and cancellation when your company trades on CamperProff. It is a summary and gives no rights beyond the terms. Under each heading, a source line names the section of the trading terms the text is based on.
Business-to-business only
CamperProff is only for legal persons acting in the course of business, with a company name, country and VAT number. Consumers have no access, and there is no 14-day withdrawal right.

Payment and who holds the purchase price
For auction and buy-now, the purchase agreement is concluded directly between seller and buyer. CamperProff is not a party to the trade and does not receive the purchase price. The buyer pays the total amount to the payment provider PayProff no later than 3 bank days after the trade is concluded. The total amount is the purchase price with any VAT and VAT deposit and the fees and freight payable through the payment provider. PayProff holds the purchase price until the buyer has confirmed receipt and the 5-day (120-hour) window for reporting deviations has elapsed or a timely report has been ruled on. PayProff then pays the purchase price out to the seller. Bank days are Monday to Friday except Danish public holidays and bank closing days.

If the buyer does not pay
If the buyer does not pay the total amount in full by the payment deadline, the platform records a payment default once the deadline has passed. The buyer's bidding is paused immediately, and all of the buyer's bids and automatic maximums on running auctions are withdrawn. Withdrawn bids do not come back when the pause is lifted. The buyer receives the reasons and can object, and CamperProff's Assessment team lifts or upholds the pause with reasons. No penalty or fee is charged and no invoice is issued. Any claim for damages is settled between the parties. The seller may terminate the trade by offering the vehicle to another bidder or offering it again.

Collection, delivery and receipt
The vehicle must be ready for collection no later than 48 hours after PayProff has confirmed that the purchase price has been paid in. Seller and buyer can record the agreed date for collection or delivery on the trade page; for CamperProff transport the booked date applies. If there is an agreed date and the buyer has neither confirmed receipt nor stated on the trade page that the vehicle has not been handed over within 2 bank days after that date, the vehicle is deemed received when that period ends. The window for deviations runs from then. Without an agreed date the vehicle is not deemed received until the buyer confirms receipt. This rule only fixes when the window for deviations runs and when PayProff may pay out. It does not change the seller's obligation to hand over the vehicle: if the vehicle has not been handed over, the buyer may still demand delivery or terminate the purchase.

Deviations and partial refunds
The buyer may report deviations from the condition report on the trade page within 5 days (120 hours) of receipt, with at least 3 photos of the deviation and a description of what differs. A report made in time holds back the payout. The seller must answer within 2 working days; if the seller does not, CamperProff rules on the buyer's documentation. CamperProff rules within 3 working days after the seller's answer or the seller's deadline and either rejects the report or approves the trade with a documented deduction. PayProff pays the deduction to the buyer as a partial refund, and the rest is paid out to the seller. If nothing is reported within the 5 days, the vehicle is deemed approved. Working days are Monday to Friday except Danish public holidays and bank closing days.

CamperProff does not cancel a whole trade
CamperProff never cancels or refunds a whole trade through the platform. CamperProff's ruling on a deviation only determines how PayProff settles the amount. It is not an arbitral award. Either party may bring the question of a defect, a deduction or termination of the purchase before the courts. Danish law applies, and disputes are decided by the District Court of Sønderborg.

VAT deposit on a VAT-free supply within the EU
On a VAT-free intra-EU supply the buyer pays a VAT deposit together with the purchase price. The deposit is security from the buyer to the seller for the VAT. It is paid out to the seller together with the purchase price, and a deduction after a reported deviation never reaches the deposit. Once the buyer's documentation that the vehicle has been transported out of the seller's country is approved, the seller pays the deposit back to the buyer. The deadline for the documentation is 23:59 Danish time on the 10th of the month after delivery. Delivery is the day the buyer confirms receipt, or the day the vehicle is deemed received. The seller keeps the deposit and accounts for the VAT itself if, at the deadline, no documentation has been sent that is approved or awaiting a decision, or if the documentation is rejected after the deadline.

Guaranteed minimum price
A guaranteed price covers the accepted auction. If the auction ends without bids, the seller withdraws it, or the buyer does not pay, the guarantee lapses and CamperProff pays nothing. If CamperProff stops the auction because the seller has materially breached the terms, the guarantee lapses. If CamperProff stops it for other reasons, the guarantee does not lapse: CamperProff offers the seller a new auction with the same guaranteed price, or the seller may cancel at no cost. The guarantee terms the seller has accepted take precedence.

CamperProff's fees
The buyer fee and the seller commission are earned when the buyer's payment has been received and are invoiced the same day.

Closing your account
Your company may terminate its account at any time by writing to CamperProff or by deleting the account in the app. CamperProff may terminate an account with 30 days' notice, and immediately in case of material breach. Trades already concluded are completed under their terms, and an auction that started before a termination without breach takes effect is completed with any accepted guaranteed price.

What applies
The trading terms apply. Where this page says something different from the terms, the terms prevail. The guarantee terms accepted by the seller and the purchase agreement for the individual trade take precedence over the trading terms. The terms exist in several languages; if they differ, the Danish version prevails, followed by the English version.
